Uncoated or Coated Leather? Find Out With a Water Drop Test

Our leather cleaner is designed for use on finished or coated leather only. To determine if you have coated (finished) or uncoated (unfinished) leather products, perform the water drop test. Place a drop of water on the leather surface. If it immediately soaks in and causes a dark spot, you have uncoated leather. If it beads, your leather interior is coated and safe to use with Lederpflege leather cleaner & conditioner.

How to Apply nextzett Leather Cleaner

Surface should be cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight when applying. Apply a small amount of Leather Cleaner to a microfiber foam applicator. and work the product evenly into the leather surface.  Buff off excess with a microfiber cloth. Use regularly to keep leather soft, conditioned, and protected against wear.
