Ter seu veículo sujo de ovo não é brincadeira. O dano à pintura é devido principalmente ao conteúdo do ovo e não ao impacto.

Ovos contêm enxofre, que é um componente de dois aminoácidos tanto na gema quanto na clara. Pouco depois de o ovo entrar em contato com o acabamento da pintura, o ácido começa a corroer quimicamente a superfície da pintura, fazendo com que ela rache e se deteriore - isso é chamado de craqueamento. Resina de árvore (seiva) e excrementos de pássaros também são ácidos e podem causar danos semelhantes ao acabamento da pintura se não forem tratados.

A boa notícia é que, como outros problemas de superfície do carro, isso pode ser resolvido. Se você é um entusiasta de fim de semana ou nunca trabalhou com produtos para cuidados com o carro antes, vou descrever o que você pode fazer para resolver a maior parte do problema. Se você é mais experiente, mostrarei como resolver o problema completamente.

No entanto, se o contaminante penetrou além do verniz e atingiu a camada de base, a única solução é repintar a superfície. Infelizmente, você pode não descobrir que este é o caso até ter tratado a área com o processo descrito abaixo.

Solução

Passo 1

Não demore, você precisa limpar o ovo da pintura o mais rápido possível. Se deixado para secar (especialmente em clima quente ou sob luz solar direta), o ovo irá corroer o verniz e penetrar na camada de cor base do acabamento da pintura. Nesse ponto, a área terá que ser repintada para restaurar a condição original. Por essa razão, o tempo é essencial!

Apenas lembre-se de limpar a área sem causar mais danos à pintura. NÃO use toalhas de papel, panos velhos ou qualquer outro pano/aplicador que arranhe a superfície. Além disso, não use limpador de vidro, que é projetado para limpar vidro. Se você fez alguma dessas coisas, não entre em pânico. Você deu a si mesmo mais trabalho a fazer, mas pode ser resolvido.

Com seu carro na sombra para que o acabamento da pintura esteja frio ao toque, lave seu carro com uma seleção de shampoos nextzett para lavagem de carros. Ou, se seu carro já estiver limpo, apenas lave a área a ser tratada com um quick detailer como Perfect Shine para remover qualquer poeira solta ou detritos na área afetada, para que você não cause arranhões adicionais ao tratar a área.

O segredo é remover o contaminante para neutralizar suas propriedades corrosivas o mais rápido possível.

Passo 2

Agora que a superfície está limpa e seca, precisamos remover o acabamento de pintura danificado. Isso é feito usando polidor de carro. Dependendo da gravidade do dano, determinará qual polidor ou polidores usaremos.

Se a pintura tiver arranhões profundos ou parecer a imagem acima, você terá que polir primeiro com No. 1 Clean & Polish. Os abrasivos fortes, mas precisos do No. 1 removerão com segurança as camadas danificadas da pintura. Não se preocupe, estamos falando de mícrons, então você não removerá completamente o verniz. Se aplicar à mão, use uma toalha de algodão macia para obter os melhores resultados. Polir a superfície até que a aparência do dano seja reduzida. Isso pode levar de duas a três aplicações, então seja paciente.

Se aplicar à máquina, como uma Dual Action Orbital, aplique em uma configuração médio-alta (varia de máquina para máquina) com uma almofada de espuma de corte.

Se o dano for profundo o suficiente para que o polidor não esteja removendo o dano, você precisará fazer lixamento úmido ou procurar um profissional de detalhamento para corrigir o defeito.

Passo 3

Após polir com o No. 1 Clean & Polish, polir a superfície com o No. 2 One Step Polish. O One Step Polish é um polidor de granulação mais fina e aprimorará a profundidade e o brilho da sua pintura. Após o polimento, a superfície deve parecer significativamente melhorada, com a maioria dos defeitos removidos.

Passo 4

Após polir a pintura, você precisa selar o acabamento com uma camada protetora de cera. Aplique No. 3 Polish & Wax com uma almofada aplicadora de espuma para proteger a pintura contra oxidação, raios UV, excrementos de pássaros, chuva ácida, sujeira da estrada e de quaisquer futuros ataques de ovos (se você tiver tanta má sorte).

Prevenção

É claro que não há como impedir que alguém jogue ovos em seu carro. No entanto, certifique-se de aplicar cera regularmente em seu carro para retardar os efeitos dos ovos, mas também de contaminantes diários como excrementos de pássaros, seiva de árvore e sujeira da estrada, que também podem causar danos à sua pintura. A proteção e o tempo corretos no cuidado do carro são tudo. Polir e encerar seu carro duas vezes ao ano se você o usa diariamente. Mesmo que dure entre quatro e seis meses, você pode aplicar SF3 Premium Protect com mais frequência para garantir proteção suficiente.

Também é recomendado que você carregue uma toalha de microfibra limpa e uma garrafa de quick detailer como Perfect Shine em seu carro, caso esteja fora de casa, para que possa limpar imediatamente quaisquer excrementos de pássaros, seiva ou ovos.

Lembre-se de que quanto antes você remover o contaminante, menos danos à pintura você terá que consertar.

In 2000, einszett entered the North American market for the first time, beginning with a small number of specialty dealers who recognized the quality and potential of the brand.

Among the earliest was Newport Beach Porsche, which became einszett’s first dealer in 2001. From those first placements, English-language product labels, catalogs, and marketing materials helped introduce einszett to a new audience of enthusiasts and professionals in the United States and beyond.
